Today, after decades of impressive performance,cable bus has become  a practical alternative to conventional non-segregated phase bar bus systems. Calvert Cable Bus has won the approval of many engineers and buyers because of its low cost, low maintenance, and high reliability. Cable Bus utilizes fully-rated power cables instead of the more traditional bus bars to carry current. The cables are housed in a ventilated metal enclosure (normally aluminum) to provide a completely protected bus system.

The Calvert Cable Bus is a "system", not just a product. Calvert takes great pride in its' ability to supply customers with the design, materials, terminations, connectors, supporting structures and accessories necessary to ensure a completely coordinated application. Of course, we offer complete installation and testing of the Cable Bus to complete the Calvert System.
